Today was another day off :] we woke up early and went to typhoon. Michelle and I met up with some friends we met at the welcome party last week, so that was interesting. And it was good. Haha.
Michelle and I got home and watched the Bachelor. We are obsessed! Kinda addicted to the screen. And oh my word, we are rooting for this girl Emily to win. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Enough about that.
So, smart Michelle opened the patio door cause it was hot. Awhile later I look to my right and I see a GIANTTTTTTTTTTTT wasp monster thing! It was insaneeeeee!!!! And we were crawling around the house trying to avoid it. I think I almost peed my pants!
BUT! Then we did something special :]]]]] It's called "Give Kids the World". Basically, the families that come have children with life-threatning sicknessess come to this resort, and get great treatment. So, we went in there and played with the kids, to give the parents relief.
Michelle and I arrived at the Commons, and our grand friend Hannah was there! So, we were very excited to be united at this special event. And so we took a van to this little place. We got free shirts, that is always a plus...
And then, we got to meet the little ones! The kids got to choose who they wanted to play with, so i was nervous I wouldnt get picked. Just like in middle school! But this cute little boy named Aveon wanted to hang with me! Michelle got his little sister, who was darling! We played Xbox, wii, and remote boats. And then we headed over to the ginger bread house and got dinner! It was chicken nuggets and french fries! Mmmmm. Michelle's cute little girl said no to every food shown to her, so eventually we just piled it all on! And she ate. hahaha.
After dinner we met Mrs. Mary, who is a rabbit that I have never heard of...my bad? And then we rode the Carousellllllll! I rode a pig named Charles, and Aveon rode Leo the Lion! B.A. right there.
And thennnnn, we went to "Village Idol", where the kids can perform a song or dance! Little Aveon broke dance! Broke dance? Breaked dance? Well, ya. Just imagine a 9 year old little black kid doing a back flip on stageee! It was so legit! He would have won if it was a contest. But while that was going on we got popcorn and slushees! They provided so much for us!
And at the end we got autographs from the performers and did the cupid shuffle in the street! It was amazing.
Here is a picture before hand of me, meesh, and hannah!
